Big Gulp Forest Stewardship with Friends of Inwood Hill Park

Saturday, July 11 at 10:00 AM

It's a hard-to-swallow fact that invasive species are becoming more common in NYC parks and damaging native ecosystems and biodiversity. On 7/11, bring your biggest reusable water container and take a GULP out of invasive species in Inwood Hill Park. We will be removing invasive vines that smother and choke native tree saplings, digging up giant burdock that shade and out-compete wildflowers that our butterflies and bees rely on, and making the park a greener and healthier place to be for everyone who loves it. We hope to see you there!

Where: Seaman Avenue and Isham Street Entrance (in Inwood Hill Park), Citywide/Online
